During our week with Foróige we had the pleasure of working with Naomi. She showed an interest in photography, so we wanted to give her the opportunity to show us Galway through her own eyes. During the week, we gave Naomi a camera to take pictures of anything she wanted to capture and to explore her environment. We gave her a few pointers on taking visually interesting pictures and she revealed to us her creative side through these photos. She took candids of the JMU students and Foróige members. She photographed the beauty of Galway and the sense of community this place has. Through the pictures we can see how the youth don’t focus on the differences in their backgrounds or interests, but instead embrace them.
