With the pictures we chose for this photo story, we wanted to tell Naomi’s story of how she found her confidence and voice through music and her involvement in Foróige, and how this sense of self confidence will be carried with her through her future endeavors. Naomi told us all about how she loved music and originally discovered her passion for music through her mother and grandmother.
Living in Galway has reinforced her love for music because of all the exposure to music with all the street performers. Foróige allows her to express her love of music by providing the support and tools to help Naomi expand on her talents. Through the assistance from Foróige, Naomi found a new confidence in her musical ability. Foróige is giving the next generation of Galway skills to succeed.
